Chauffeur or self-drive — which is right for you?
For most guests, the chauffeur is the luxury. Bali’s traffic is dense, signage is inconsistent, and parking at a popular beach club is a sport of its own. A professional driver turns all of that into someone else’s problem while you answer emails or watch the rice terraces go by. Our chauffeurs are employees, not day-hires: vetted, trained and discreet.
Self-drive suits confident drivers on the smaller cars — the Mini Cooper and the EVs are the usual choices. You will need a valid international driving permit alongside your home licence, and we walk you through the cover before you sign anything. The Ghost leads most wedding requests, usually with an Alphard or two behind it for family. Can I rent a luxury car in Bali without a chauffeur?
Yes, on selected categories. The Mini Cooper and our electric cars are available self-drive with a valid international driving permit. The Rolls-Royce and the supercars are chauffeur-driven or host-accompanied, which protects both you and the car on Bali’s unpredictable roads.
How far ahead should I book?
For the Alphard and the S-Class, a few days is usually enough outside peak season. For the Ghost, the G63 and the supercars — and for any car in July, August or the Christmas and New Year weeks — allow two to four weeks. Wedding cars should be reserved the moment your date is fixed.
What does the daily rate include?
A full driving day with your chauffeur, fuel for normal touring within Bali, and your coordinator on WhatsApp throughout. Anything extra — a late-night extension, an overnight trip across the island, a second driver — is agreed in writing before it happens, never added afterwards.
